Seeing With The Body
£55.00

There  is more to seeing than just the eyes alone. The eyes are part of the body-mind and are influenced by everything going on therein, as well as by influences coming from the surrounding world -  for better or for worse. The senses, including sight, have both an outward and inward aspect, linking  with the outside world and also the world within. The body-mind works best in a relaxed attentive state and then everything helps everything else and there can be a flow of healing, which may even bring benefit to the eyes and sight. Then the body-mind feels more alive and gives the feeling that not just the eyes, but the whole body is seeing. It is this field we shall be exploring in this workshop, using simple means given by Bates exercises, relaxation, sensing, awareness and movement and, maybe, telling stories, and humour.

For those who may want to come this workshop, it would be best to wear loose comfortable clothing and soft shoes. It may be useful to bring a cushion.

Reading Without Glasses At Any Age
£55.00
So many people get reading problems in their 40s that it is considered normal to need reading glasses at that age. Yet is this really necessary? Dr. Bates was able to overcome his own 'stone hard' presbyopia in his early 50s, and subsequently was able to help so many people who were unable to read without glasses recover from this condition that he felt most, if not all, can be cured. This workshop will go through the ten steps to Reading without Glasses at any Age, based on the book that Esther wrote on this topic.
